Get ListViewDBE Column Icon

Hello,

getColumnValue will return the text in a row/column of a ListViewDBE.
Is it possible to get the Icon used in a ListViewDBE row/column.

I don't want to have to store/retrieve Icons from a separate data structure if possible.

Thanks.

I guess DOORS still misses a perm for it. We had a similar question about column titles in a listview. With a clever hook, you can implement such a perm. See this post:

Its easy to adapt the code to also store icons. Just put them in another global skip. You should then be able to include the file into any existing code and automagically have the new functionally available.

Hope that helps, Regards, Mathias

Thank for the suggestion.

I had experimented with doing something similar to what you suggest but since the listView is highly dynamic (inserts, deletes, moves), it requires lots of effort to keep a Skip in sync.

I think I'll just leave it.
